Retired Breeders

At times we need to spay/neuter our wonderful breeders to make room for other kittens coming into our breeding program; often times these new kittens are offspring of the cats we are spaying, so we can retain the lines. We wish we could keep them all, of course – but that just isn’t practical in a cattery type situation. So we want to find loving households for them to manage.

All Retired Friends are already spayed/neutered. There is an adoption fee ranging from $800 – $1,200. We provide their complete health record and each is placed under a binding contract stating they must be indoor only cats, not ever declawed, and given appropriate veterinary care.

Currently, we have two retired breeders available – Ginni and Boojie. Both are  already spayed, checked out by my vet, up to date on their shots, and ready to go.

Though both of these girls are friendly and sociable, I believe they will make the best transition to a new home where there is currently no other adult cat. In time, integration with a new kitten should be fine, but for this first big change it is best they each, individually, go to a home with no other adult cats.
